Silk Brow is a variety of Meitan Cuiya tea. It is a special product of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, and has been recognized as a product with Chinese National Geographical Indication.

Its tea leaves are flat, smooth, and slender, just like the curved eyebrows of a beautiful woman, which is the origin of the name “Silk Brow”. Looking back at history, during the Tang Dynasty in China from 618 to 907 AD, it emerged with the name “Meitan Meijian Tea”.
The birth of Silk Brow tea benefits from the unique geographical and ecological environment of Guizhou, which endows it with a natural tender fragrance and the characteristic nutty aroma of high – quality Chinese green tea. It is worth mentioning that the raw materials of Silk Brow tea are all tender buds, which makes it different in appearance from other Chinese green teas. The local tea – pickers have a lot of trouble picking Silk Brow tea. There is a saying that “0.55 pounds of dry tea requires 60,000 tender buds”, which shows the difficulty of its picking.
After meticulous production, Silk Brow tea has excellent quality. It has won 90 honors related to Chinese green tea successively and even won the Gold Award of Chinese Tea at the Milan Expo in 2015.
